It may end up not working again, but for now, I'm going to hope that it was just a software glitch/bug. After returning to it, the touchpad now works and has no issues.

If you've read this far, I'd be happy to hear any suggestions. I've tried shutting it off and on again, but I'm not very knowledgeable about this sort of computer hardware, so I didn't want to go tearing it apart.

I tried googling if there were some solutions, or if anyone had previously had this same problem, but I had no luck. All of the other keys & buttons seem to work. It doesn't let me click, and it doesn't react with the touchpad component either. I've opened up different screens, and menus, and the touchpad doesn't work anywhere. Today, when I opened up the calculus menu, it would not let me move my selection around using the touchpad/keypad. It has worked fine, and I've taken very good care of it because of how expensive it was.
